Aurora Levins Morales is an internationally known Puerto Rican Ashkenazi poet, essayist, historian and storyteller, and a dedicated liberationist, using the arts to expand our beliefs about what is possible so we can create sustainable and inclusive societies rooted in reciprocity and generosity. She is the author of seven books, most recently Medicine Stories: Essays for Radicals, and Silt: Prose Poems.
