Beer & Econ: Stories from the Job Market and the Aftermath - Corina Boar & Daniel Waldinger (NYU)
Attend the first Beer and Econ (B&E) of the year at 6pm in room 517. This year, we chose a slightly different format. Each time, we'll invite several professors, and they will talk about a common theme. Pizza and beer will be provided as usual. The guests for this first B&E will be Corina Boar and Daniel Waldinger, who will share with us anecdotes on the transition from the hardships of grad school to the hardships of full-fledged academia. We forecast plenty of interesting stories. Don't miss out — even if the job market seems far away to you right now! It will be a relaxed event and questions are welcomed at the end of their talks.
