Kyoko has earned masters degrees in Linguistics, Second and Foreign Language Education, and Counseling Psychology. She has taught different levels of Japanese language at the New School, William Paterson University, Soka University of America and Bergen Community College. Her work interest and education has led her to take residence in Tokyo, London, New York, Los Angeles, and Bogota.
