Dr. Xing Cheng is Post Doctor of ICCT, Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University. She received her bachelors and masters degrees at Peking University. In the year of 2017, She graduated with doctorate degree at PKU.
She majors in modern Chinese literature, especially studies on Brothers Zhou (周氏兄弟) and evolution of genres in modern Chinese literature. The title of her dissertation is Remembrance and Construction: A Study of Lu Xun’s Self Narration(《追忆与建构——鲁迅“自叙”研究》). Her published works appear in several core journals in China, including Modern Chinese Literature Studies (《中国现代文学研究丛刊》), Literary Reviews(《文学评论》) and Lu Xun Research Monthly(《鲁迅研究月刊》).
She is currently making efforts to explore academic vision to theories of representation and narrative.
