'Howl's Moving Castle' (ハウルの動く城) is a 2004 Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The film follows a young milliner who is turned into a witch and is cursed by another woman. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in the 78th Academy Awards.
