'Weathering With You' (天気の子) is a 2019 Japanese animated romantic fantasy film written and directed by Makoto Shinkai. The film follows a high-school boy who runs away from home to Tokyo. In Tokyo, he becomes friends with a girl who is able to manipulate the weather. The film has received 4 Annie Award nominations and was selected as a Japanese entry at the 92nd Academy Awards.
