Our undergraduate courses focus primarily on language and literature and the way in which the three civilizations (China, Japan & Korea) have interacted with the Western world. By intensive study of Asian culture, students are encouraged to reflect on the global interrelatedness of human society. Three language sequences are offered: a six-semester Chinese language sequence, Japanese language sequence, and Korean language sequence.
