Dorothea Lasky is the author of five full-length collections of poetry: the forthcoming Milk (Wave Books), as well as Rome (Liveright/W.W. Norton) and Thunderbird, Black Life, and AWE, all three from Wave Books. She has also written several chapbooks, including the forthcoming Snakes (Tungsten Press, 2017) and Poetry is Not a Project (Ugly Ducking Presse, 2010). In 2013, Lasky was named a Bagley Wright Lecturer at Harvard University. She currently lives in New York City, where she is an assistant professor of poetry at Columbia University's School of the Arts.
