Editor, translator, and poet, Joshua Beckman is the author of Things Are Happening, winner of the APR/Honickman First Book Award, Something I Expected to Be Different, Your Time Has Come, Shake, and Take It. Beckman’s latest publication is a double-volume of his 2013-14 Bagley Wright Lectures, Three Talks and The Lives of the Poems (Wave Books, May 2018).
Terrance Hayes is the author of How To Be Drawn, a finalist for the 2015 National Book Award, the 2016 National Book Critics Circle Award, and received the 2016 NAACP Image Award for Poetry; Lighthead, winner of the 2010 National Book Award and finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award; Wind In a Box; Hip Logic; Muscular Music; and American Sonnets for My Past and Future Assassin (Penguin, 2018). To Float in the Space Between: A Life and Work in Conversation with the Life and Work of Etheridge Knight, based on his Bagley Wright Lectures, is his newest publication (Wave Books, September 2018). The recipient of numerous honors and fellowships, he is a senior faculty member of the NYU Creative Writing Program.
