FENCE 40th Issue Celebration
Join Fence editors, contributors, and friends, including new Editorial Directors Emily Wallis Hughes and Jason Zuzga, Editor Emeritus Rebecca Wolff, Visiting Editor of Fence #40 and #41 Edgar Garcia, and contributors Adam Golaski, Harmony Holiday, and Geoffrey Cruickshank-Hagenbuckle, to anticipate the release of Fence #40 and to celebrate the transition of Fence.
The evening will feature: Harmony Holiday reading from Maafa (Fence Books, 2022); Geoffrey Cruickshank-Hagenbuckle reading from Sex Axe (Fence Digital, 2022); Adam Golaski reading his essay "Blue Cassette" from Fence #40; and Edgar Garcia, discussing and reading from the Fence #40 forum he curated, his Editor’s Note, as well as poems from Skins of Columbus (Fence Books, 2019). Books and discounted subscriptions to Fence will be available for purchase. A reception will follow the reading.

COVID-19 Protocol
Masks are optional. All attendees must be in compliance with NYU’s COVID-19 vaccination requirements (fully vaccinated and boosted, once eligible and by NYU’s deadline). Visitors (i.e. anyone who is not a current NYU student or employee) should be prepared to present proof of compliance and a government-issued ID if asked to do so. NYU students and employees should be prepared to show a Violet Go pass and an NYU ID.
