William Clark
William Clark researches shifts in phenomenological ideas and their correspondences with media, literature, and technology. His current work seeks a phenomenological grounding for the "norm." He researches media genres shaped by varieties of pathology: cruel theater, nihilist modernism, melodrama, memories of underdevelopment, New Queer Cinema. He has a BA and MA in Cinema Studies from NYU Tisch.
