Inspired by last week's discussion, this month we will be thinking more about revolutionary imaginaries through the chapter "Not In Between" from Fred Moten's Black and Blur, alongside Raoul Peck's film Lumumba, which can be viewed through NYU's access to Alexander Street. If time permits we might also consider some optional reading to think about the present-day legacies of Belgium's colonial history: this article from June in the New York Times, and a more recent piece in the Brussels Times.
