Mark Sanders is Professor of Comparative Literature and English at New York University, where he also co-directors the CALAMEGS advanced graduate certificate program. He specializes in African literatures, literary theory, and interdisciplinary approaches to literature, law, and philosophy. He is the authors of several books, the most recent being Learning Zulu: A Secret History of Language in South Africa.
