Coursework: Trainees have to take one course from List A below. In addition, trainees who join as juniors have to take one course from List A or List B. Course taken before joining the program can be used towards these requirements.

• Introduction to computational neuroscience
• Computational Neuroscience: From Channels to Networks
• Introduction to Neural Data Analysis
• Another computational neuroscience course (please discuss with program directors)
List B
• Calculus II (MATH.UA-0122)
• Linear Algebra (MATH.UA-0140)
• Introduction to Mathematical Modeling (MATH.UA-0251)
• Mathematics in Medicine and Biology (MATH.UA-0255)
• Theory of Probability (MATH-UA.0233)
• Probability and Statistics (MATH.UA-0235)
• Introduction to Programming (Limited Prior Experience) (CSCI.UA-0003)
• Any other advanced math or computer science course (please discuss with program directors)
