Eric N. Jacobsen, Sheldon Emery Professor of Chemistry and former Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University, will deliver the 2022 Edward J. McNelis Distinguished Lecture in Chemistry. Among his illustrious accomplishments, Professor Jacobsen is an alumnus of NYU Chemistry, earning his bachelor's degree in 1982 before continuing his education at Berkeley and MIT. His talk is entitled, "Privileged Chiral Catalysts: Selectivity and Generality in Enantioselective Catalysis."
