An American Chemical Society New York Section Topical Group hosted by
The New York University Department of Chemistry
Refershments at 7:00; Science at 7:30
SPEAKERS: Not necessarily in this order
Wilma Olson
Rutgers University
Mary I. Bunting Professor of Chemistry
A Physiochemical Perspective on Genome Organization
Adam Braunschweig
CUNY Advanced Science Research Center
Professor in the Nanoscience Initiative
Molecular Printing: Controlling Surface Structure on Biology’s Length Scale
Miguel Modestino
NYU Tandon School of Engineering

Artificial Photosynthesis Engineering: Towards Scalable Solar-Chemical Reactors
Sessions feature three 30-minute presentations on nanoscience, one each with strong orientation in biology, chemistry, and physics/applied mathematics. Presentations will be focused on discussion of recent work, although speakers will be expected to place the work in a context understandable to a broad audience.
Hosts: NYU Professors Jim Canary (Chemistry), Ned Seeman (Chemistry), Andy Kent (Physics) and Rasti Levicky (Tandon School of Engineering)
