Wnt/β-catenin signaling has been shown to play an important role in multiple forms of cancer but currently has no approved targeted therapies. We used computational tools to develop a novel inhibitor that targets a critical interaction in the Wnt pathway.

The bacterial outer membrane is a critical barrier that protects the cell from antibiotics.  The Ekiert Lab studies a ubiquitous family of lipid transporters called MCE, which are important for outer membrane integrity but whose precise molecular function is not well understood.
