Proteomimetics are synthetic structures that mimic broad surfaces of protein secondary and tertiary structure. The design of a new proteomimetic folded scaffold MAMBA and its application in biomolecular recognition is described.

Membrane proteins are targeted by over 50% of pharmaceutical drugs on the market, yet are incredibly difficult to study experimentally. This talk will focus on tool development for computational membrane protein structure prediction in the Rosetta software suite.
