Desplan's postdoc Miriam Rosenberg Defines the evolution of insect segmentation


In a recent issue of Development, former Desplan student Mathias Wernet deciphered the transcriptional network that specifies the region of the Drosophila eye responsible for the detection of the vector of light polarization that allows insects to navigate when the sun is not present.
