The Gresham lab has been awarded a 5 year grant by the NIGMS to study the regulation of cell growth and quiescence in eukaryotic cells. The project will use next-generation genetic interaction mapping methods to define the networks that regulate cell growth in response to resource availability. In addition, the research will define variation in transcript production and degradation at different growth rates using metabolic labeling of RNA.
