Cracking the Repetitive DNA Code
The goal of this one-day symposium is to highlight research that advances the structural and functional characterization of the repetitive genome with talks and a poster session on topics such as centromeres, rDNA arrays, and telomeres, as well as, copy number variation, transposable elements, and major/minor satellites. We aim to showcase conceptual and technological improvements in the repetitive DNA field, and to bring together a diverse group of local researchers, with an emphasis on speaking and networking opportunities for early career scientists.
