Eliana studies the intersection of film, museums, and digital spaces, with a focus on indigenous media in Taiwan. She has an MSc in Visual, Material, and Museum Anthropology from Oxford, where she wrote her Masters dissertation on community formation and digital liveness in online film festivals. She received her BSc in Economics and her BA in International Studies though the University of Pennsylvania's Huntsman Program. During her undergraduate studies she spent over a year in China, studying at Peking University, researching China Jewish communities in Shanghai, Beijing, and Kaifeng, and working at Goodyear Asia Pacific. Most recently, she worked as a Project Director at Flamingo New York, a global insight and brand strategy company, where she led projects for multinational clients including Diageo, Johnson & Johnson, Facebook, and Apple. Aside from her work and studies, she volunteers at the City Reliquary Museum in Brooklyn, and recently completed her first marathon in Edinburgh.
