Pastoralism in the Early Transcaucasian Culture: The Faunal Remains from Sos Höyük

Jen's research interests included zooarchaeological methodology, environmental archaeology, pastoralism, Old World archaeology (Caucasus, Eurasia, SW Asia), the emergence of social complexity, and regional interactions. Her doctoral dissertation examined faunal data from Early Bronze Age archaeological sites located in Turkey, Armenia, and Iran. After completing the PhD program in 2009, Jen became a Smithsonian Postdoctoral Fellow in the Archaeobiology Program of the Department of Anthropology at the National Museum of Natural History.
