Biparental care and male reproductive strategies in Siamangs (Symphalangus syndactylus) in southern Sumatra

Susan Lappan
"My primary research interest is primate behavioral ecology, and my research program focuses primarily on the gibbons (family Hylobatidae), small apes living in tropical rainforests of South and Southeast Asia. I am particularly interested in the evolution of primate reproductive strategies and the ways that ecological variables (e.g., food availability and spatiotemporal distribution) affect behavioral strategies. My research to date has been conducted on the Indonesian islands of Sumatra and Java."
