Kate Detwiler is currently an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Florida Atlantic University. Her research focuses primarily on the behavioral ecology, evolution, phylogeography, and conservation of African guenon monkeys. Her primary field site is Gombe National Park in Tanzania where she is studying a unique case of hybridization between two sympatric guenon species.
