Hannah Lillith Assadi’s first novel Sonora (Soho Press, 2017) received the Rosenthal Family Foundation Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Her second novel The Stars Are Not Yet Bells is forthcoming from Riverhead. Joseph Cassara’s debut novel The House of Impossible Beauties (HarperCollins, 2018), was chosen by Barnes & Noble as a Discover Great New Writers selection. He is an assistant professor of English and Creative Writing at California State University, Fresno. Fatima Farheen Mirza’s debut novel, A Place for Us, published in 2018, was the first book of Sarah Jessica Parker’s new imprint, SJP for Hogarth.
