My name is Luigi, and I’m a new student worker and intern at Deutsches Haus at NYU.
I have a German mother and Brazilian father and was born in São Paulo, Brazil. Since my mother works for the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, my family and I moved from country to country every three to four years. This unorthodox childhood allowed me to pick up four languages and witness a wide range of cultures from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Argentina, and India. I think this is what sparked the Fernweh or Wanderlust in me at a very young age.
This upcoming semester, I’m going to be a junior at Gallatin with a concentration in marketing, advertising, and photography.
I’m grateful and excited to be part of the Deutsches Haus Team!
