Refreshments at 7:00; Science at 7:30
SPEAKERS: Not necessarily in this order
Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics
Nanoscale Architectures for Probing Biomolecular and Cellular Processes
Molecular Pharmacology Program
Development of Targeted Nanomedicines via Machine Learning Processes
Department of Chemistry
Materials Design for 3rd Generation Solar Cells
Sessions feature three 30-minute presentations on nanoscience, one each with strong orientation in biology, chemistry, and physics/applied mathematics. Presentations will be focused on discussion of recent work, although speakers will be expected to place the work in a context understandable to a broad audience.
Hosts: NYU Professors Jim Canary (Chemistry), Ned Seeman (Chemistry), Andy Kent(Physics) and Rasti Levicky (Tandon School of Engineering)
