Tab Container/Tab Item component

The Tab Container and the Tab Item components are two closely related components. The Tab Container component does not have any settings, however, it defines where the Tab Item component will be placed on the page. The Tab Item component only creates a tab-style layout. It does not contain any text or image configurations. To utilize the tab-style layout, the user must add additional components into the Tab Item component drop area.  Users who are looking to save some spaces on the page, he/she can combine multiple Tab Item components to create a multi-tab layout.

Note: Tab Container component is pre-populated on the Department Landing template.

To configure Tab Item component

  1. Click on the Tab Item component to display the Edit bar
  2. Click on Configure icon (wrench). This will open the Configure panel.
  3. Enter the Tab title
  4. Click Done icon (check mark) to save

Troubleshooting

How do I remove the Tab Container component?
Tab Container component are non-removable in the Department Landing Page template. If you do not want to show any tabs on the landing page, you can just simply remove any components within the Tab Container.
