Footer Box

The Footer Box component provides a method for users to deliver content on a site-wide scale without going into individual pages to edit the component. The Footer Box component located at the bottom right corner right next to the School links. 

While academic units are free to use the Footer Box component for any content, we strongly encourage academic units to utilize the Footer Box component as an additional method for site visitors to reach the Contact Us page.

Note: Once the Footer Box is configured, the content can be changed, but the component itself cannot be unconfigured.

Note: Footer Box component content will auto-apply to all of its child pages.

Configure the component

To configure the Footer Box component, please follow these steps.

  1. Click on the component to open the Edit bar.
  2. Click Configure (wrench) to open the Configure panel.
  3. Fill out all the necessary fields. Please check figure 1 for fields reference. 
  4. Click Done (check mark) to save your progress.
  5. Publish the page.

Troubleshooting

How can I unconfigure the Footer Box?
Due to the required fields in the Footer Box, the user can only unconfigure the component by using the "single space" method. You can read more about the single space method here.
