Expandable component

The Expandable component is a collapsible component with a "+" indicator on the right side. It provides an easy way for our users to display a large amount of content without creating a really long page. This component is most suitable for FAQs, resources, courses ,or other text-intensive content.

To configure the component

The Expandable consists of two parts: the title and the content. The title is what your site visitors will click on to show the content.

To configure the title and anchor:

  1. Click on the component to display the Configure bar.
  2. Click on Configure icon (wrench) to open the Configure panel.
  3. Under the Expandable tab, type in the title text.
  4. Under the same tab, type in the anchor title. Users can use this as an anchor to link to.
  5. Click the Done icon (checkmark). This should close the configure panel and display the title in bolded text.

 

To configure the content:

  1. Click on the component to display the Configure bar.
  2. Click on the Edit icon (pencil) to open the Rich Text Editor.
  3. Type in your content, similar to how you would configure the Generic Content component.
  4. Click the Done icon (check mark). This should close the configure panel. 

Note: You will not see the content after you configure the content, however, you can preview the component by switching the page into Preview mode.
