Update Department Landing

READ BEFORE YOU PROCEED:

To update a specific faculty profile, please look for it in the faculty directory (/content/nyu-as/as/faculty). 

To update or add new faculty member's asset(s) (photo, cv, book cover, research paper, etc.), please make sure you are in the DAM's faculty directory (/content/dam/nyu-as/faculty). User should upload asset(s) to the corresponding subfolder within the faculty directory:

• photo should upload to the profilePhotos (/content/dam/nyu-as/faculty/profilePhotos)
  
• CV should upload to cvs (/content/dam/nyu-as/faculty/cvs)
  
• book cover should upload to bookCovers (/content/dam/nyu-as/faculty/bookCovers)
  
• article should upload to articles (/content/dam/nyu-as/faculty/articles)

To update only the text portion of the faculty profile

1. Navigate to the faculty directory.  The central faculty profile is located here: /content/dam/nyu-as/faculty
   
   
2. Search for the faculty you want to update. Due to a large amount of faculty profile within the faculty directory, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the AEM Search feature.
   • Click on the top left Search icon,  and then type in faculty's name in the Keyword field (second field)
   • Hit Enter key to perform the search.
   • Once you find the faculty, you can open/edit the page.
      
3. Update the content as needed.

To add new or update faculty-related asset(s)

1. Navigate to the faculty directory in the Assets section.
   
   
2. If you want to add a new faculty member's asset, you should follow the steps in How to Upload Asset(s)?
   
   
3. If you want to update a new faculty member's asset, you should follow the steps in How to Replace/Update Asset(s)?
