Contents are missing.

The AEM content migration started in Fall 2016. While we tried our best to identify all contents within the sites that were being migrated, chances are some contents could be missing due to various factors, such as:

• Content created after the content discovery phase in Summer and early Fall 2016.
• Content is not linked anywhere on the site and only accessible via direct link.
• Content was not discovered during the content discovery phase.
• Content is overlapped with some of the new automate features that are implemented on the AEM sites.

There are also chances that contents are not missing, but simply misplaced:

• Content is moved or created at a different location.
• Content is merged with other pieces of content.

If some of the contents are indeed missing, we recommend you recreate the page within the new site. You can read more about how to create a new page here.

We sincerely apologize for any oversight during the content migration phase.

Can you help me migrate _______ to the new site?

While we fully understand this is a very difficult time for the academic unit to not only maintain the current iOn site but also review the new AEM site, we're not able to accommodate requests regarding specific content migration. 

What happens to iOn?
iOn will be decommissioned on June 7. AEM will replace iOn as the official Arts and Science content management system. 

What happens to my iOn site's content?
Your old iOn site will be retained and made available to you via authorized access for one calendar year after launch.

How/Where can I access iOn?
You can access iOn via http://ionadmin.fas.nyu.edu/admin/. Please use your iOn login (not the NETID/Password) email/password to access the backend.

How can I view iOn site as a real site instead of just content?
You can use the Preview function within iOn to view the site as a real site:

1. Log into iOn.
   • If you're looking to access the site, click on Sites and then search for the site you're looking for
   • If you're looking to access a single page, click on Content Page, and then search for the page you're looking for.
2. Once the page or site is open, click on Preview (eye) on the left nav column.
3. A preview window should pop up, select a site that you want the page to render in, and then click Preview at the upper right.
4. You can also open the page in the regular browser by copy the URL just above the iOn preview window. Please note that the URL is only valid for 24 hours.
