Sammons publishes on Epic Cycle

Following up on his first book about Homeric epic (The Art and Rhetoric of the Homeric Catalogue, Oxford, 2010), Benjamin Sammons (Ph.D. 2007) now publishes a second book on archaic Greek epics not by Homer (Device and Composition in the Greek Epic Cycle, Oxford, 2017).  As he continues to branch out, Ben urges his followers to stay tuned for a series of articles on Hesiod and pseudo-Hesiod.
