Funding Opportunities
CEMS is pleased to share that all admitted students are considered for a CEMS fellowship that covers up to 50 percent of tuition. CEMS also offers a summer travel research grant, two to three paid student assistant positions, and one fully-funded Max Weber Chair research assistant position.
The Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS) and CEMS encourage students to research funding opportunities before and while applying to NYU. The GSAS Financial Aid and Funding Opportunities webpages are resources, among others, to source for information about possible funding.
Dean's Fellowships - The Graduate School is dedicated to ensuring that its scholarly community is enriched by individuals who, through their various lived experiences, contribute to an intellectually challenging and inclusive educational environment. Our priorities are to maximize opportunities for disadvantaged (limited financial resources, educational resources and/or social resources) and first generation students, and to provide all students the opportunity to learn in, and from, an environment that reflects the world around us. To that end, the Graduate School encourages applications from individuals whose academic research experience and plans will contribute significantly to equity, inclusion, as well as academic excellence at the Graduate School.
The Graduate School awards 10 full tuition awards to new master’s students for fall admission each year. These scholarships include an award for registration and services fees.
