Alexander Knaster is chairman and founder of Pamplona Capital Management, an investment management firm with circa $15 billion in private equity, hedge fund and fund of funds operations. His philanthropic interests are heavily focused on cancer research and education. He is Founder of The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research, which funds translational cancer research focused on transforming the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. Knaster serves as an executive fellow at the London Business School and as a member of the Board of Dean’s Advisors at Harvard Business School. He is a co-founder of Genesis Philanthropy Group. Knaster is also the owner of Pisa Football Club.
