The Department has organized intensive tutoring sessions to help you catch up or keep up with your work. We are deeply interested in your success so please take advantage of these sessions starting now, since it is important not to fall behind. Our tutor will be Irina Troconis, one of our graduate students who has already taught many courses in our Department. She will not be correcting your papers or doing your homework but can address areas where you do not feel comfortable. Irina has created a Doodle page where you can sign up for tutoring in slots of 20 minutes (3 people per hour at most). She can be with you for longer as long as nobody else has signed up for the next slot. The link is the following:
(Please note that the format is more user-friendly if you access doodle from your cell phone)
The tutoring sessions will be held at the King Juan Carlos Center (KJCC), 53 Washington Square South, on the following schedule:
From Week 1 on (Sep 8), until Dec 12, at the KJCC: (dining room, 2nd Floor)
1 - Wed-Fri November 22-24, is Thanksgiving and a University Holiday. No tutoring.
That session will be held instead on Monday, November 20, 3:00pm-6:00pm
2 - Wed-Fri Dec 13-15. No tutoring.
That session will be held instead on Monday Dec 11 and Tuesday Dec 12, 3:00pm-6:00pm
We hope those of you who need these sessions start attending them this week, and up until December 12.
As you know, our courses move fast, and it is important to feel at the level of the class. Do take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Irina will be more than happy to meet with you and help solve any questions you may have.
