The objective of the course is to show the connections existing among marketing, globalization, and politics. It will explain core concepts and principles of marketing management and their broad application. Through lectures, case studies, and class discussions, we shall examine how goods, services, organizations, places, people, and ideas are marketed in the United States and worldwide.

Offered every semester. 4 points. Advanced undergraduate course, often given in seminar style, to accommodate professors and faculty in the department who wish to give a one-time or experimental course. Encourages department or visiting faculty to give courses on subject areas or issues not in the permanent course offerings.
