The quantum many-body problem: towards quantitative approaches in strongly interacting regimes
A new era is opening in the study of the quantum many body problem in solid state physics with a new generation of theoretical approaches and algorithms which allow quantitative, controlled and predictive computations in strongly interacting regimes.
I will discuss the state of the art and some recent results obtained with Diagrammatic Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Embedding methods. In particular, I will introduce our TRILEX method, which addresses simultaneously the Mott physics and the effect of long range antiferromagnetic fluctuations in the context of high temperature superconductivity.
