ANDREW is mainly interested in foundational questions about the nature of consciousness. These include issues about the structure of experience, the mind-body problem, and the relationship between consciousness and value. More broadly, Andrew is interested in topics in the philosophy of mind, metaphysics, philosophy of science, and value theory.
Before coming to NYU, Andrew went to Brown University, where he graduated in 2013 with a BA in Philosophy, BS in Cognitive Science, and MA in Philosophy. In addition to philosophizing about experiences, Andrew even has many experiences of his own.
