The Excellence Award is designed to recognize the outstanding contributions of the administrative, clerical and technical staff within Arts and Science.

Eligibility:

• Permanent full and part-time professional, clerical and technical employees with at least one year of service. Nominations may be submitted by students, faculty, and staff university-wide.

Award:

• A total of (4) one-time $1500 awards will be granted each Spring, divided as follows:
  o 2 clerical or technical
  o 2 administrators

• Selection Criteria will include a review of the nominees accomplishments with particular emphasis on the following criteria:
  o Performance that consistently exceeds expectations;
  o Impact on unit's performance;
  o Dedication to superior customer service;
  o Initiative, creativity and innovation when problem-solving.

• An Advisory Committee will review the submitted nominations and present their recommendations to the Arts and Science Dean and the Arts and Science Dean for Administration for final selection.
