Joyce Apsel (Master Teacher of Social Foundations, Liberal Studies Program) was recently named as the Ida E. King Distinguished Visiting Scholar of Holocaust Studies at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. She will be in residence at Stockton in Spring 2009.  Apsel was recently elected President of the Institute for Study of Genocide. The Institute promotes and disseminates scholarship and policy analyses on the causes, consequences and prevention of genocide.
