
David A. Bronner is a senior partner in the Chicago office of Ungaretti & Harris LLP. His practice concentrates on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity/venture capital, securities and general corporate law. He represents public companies, private equity firms, family‑owned businesses, start‑up firms, and emerging growth companies.
As Co-Chair of the Editorial Committee of the ABA’s Committee on Negotiated Acquisitions, Mr. Bronner played a significant role in drafting the Model Stock Purchase Agreement with Commentary, a highly‑regarded source for merger and acquisition lawyers. He is presently actively participating as a member of the Task Force of that ABA committee engaged in the drafting of a Model Merger Agreement and Commentary for a public company acquisition. Mr. Bronner also served as Chairman of the Ad‑Hoc Committee on Industry Consolidations and Roll‑Ups of the Business Section of the ABA. He recently served as an expert witness on merger and acquisition legal issues in a high‑profile lawsuit.
Mr. Bronner has been instrumental in the founding of an NYU Alumni Club in the Chicago metropolitan area.
Mr. Bronner attended New York University (Phi Beta Kappa, with honors) and the University of Chicago Law School.
