With our humblest apologies for the inconvenience, due to unforeseen staffing changes at NYU, we have decided to reschedule our conference to September 22-23, 2018. We appreciate your understanding and patience with the change and look forward to seeing you in September.
In partnership with the Hagop Kevorkian Center at New York University, IAAB's International Conference on the Iranian Diaspora will be held September 22-23, 2018 at New York University School of Law and the Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies at NYU.
The IAAB Conference is an innovative forum for academics, journalists, artists, and community leaders to discuss the development, challenges, and needs of our global community. The first and biggest program of its kind, presenters join IAAB from the Middle East, Europe, Australia, Asia, and North America, bringing a truly global perspective to these important conversations.
Thanks to IAAB's current legal challenge against the US Travel Ban, IAAB v Trump, speakers from outside the United States are eligible to travel to New York for the IAAB Conference. 'IAAB v Trump''s current victory blocking the ban in October ensures that the IAAB Conference continues to be a transnational space. IAAB's legal challenge is ongoing and changes may possibly arise as the legal battle continues.
Interested in proposing a topic to the IAAB Conference? All presentation proposals are due by January 22nd, 2018.
