We live in the revolutionary ‘age of information’ that gives rise to a new type of information consumer and co-producer of content. The volume of information created by mankind, the velocities at which this information is shared, the tools developed to research and index this information, the fact that human beings are now able to self-design their own information feed, as well as the incredible pace new tools are being developed and introduced – are all unprecedented phenomenon. This new type of information consumer views and experiences the world differently; Ambassador Ido Aharoni, a well-known nation branding practitioner and the founder of Brand Israel, will explore the impact of the information revolution on traditional diplomacy and the rise of new diplomacy.
