Please join us for a talk, "Human Rights and U.S. Foreign Policy in the Trump Era," with Visiting Scholar Rob Berschinski. Rob Berschinski is a Visiting Scholar at NYU Program in International Relations for the academic year 2017-2018. Seating capacity is limited, so reserve your place early to ensure admission.
As part of its ‘America First’ foreign policy, the Trump Administration has largely departed from decades of bipartisan consensus on the benefits of advancing human rights and democracy. Rob Berschinski, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Human Rights, will discuss the Trump Administration’s approach to human rights, and what this means for America’s place in the world.
