NYU has embarked on the project of developing an expansive global network, to become a university that challenges the idea that a university can only deliver education at a single home campus. Instead, we have created a structure that allows students and faculty to gather in a set of key locales around the globe to forge new ideas, advance the questions we ask about the world, and create solutions for the problems that beset us all.
The Program in International Relations makes use of NYU’s extensive global facilities through a series of special sessions, in particular our summer and January study away opportunities.
Previous study away trips occurred in The Hague, Netherlands; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Washington, D.C.
Students interested in study away opportunities should contact the Program Director, Professor Michael John Williams.
Students can also consider the university's other graduate study away options. Please see links in the sidebar.
