Lionel C. Johnson is president of the Pacific Pension & Investment Institute. He served as senior vice president of the Initiative for Global Development and as vice president of Turkey, Middle East, and North Africa Affairs, US Chamber of Commerce.
Johnson was vice president and director of International Government Affairs, Citigroup, and deputy assistant secretary of the Treasury for International Development, Debt and Environment Policy in the Clinton Administration.
Johnson is a member of the Board of Trustees of the RAND Corporation and serves on the Board of Directors of the Project on Middle East Democracy.
Johnson has held US Foreign Service assignments in US Embassies in Haiti, the Philippines and Kenya.
