Current Book Project:
“Craving Connection in the Urban Wasteland: The Enigmatic Real and the Deal in the Theatre of Bernard-Marie Koltès.” In this book, I argue for a previously unrecognized coherence in the dramatic oeuvre of the modern French playwright rooted in his representation of a strictly transactional society and the struggle to create a sense of belonging with in it.
