Patricia is the Chair's Administrative Aide II and the senior clerical staff member in the department. She manages faculty job searches and campus visits, Promotion and Tenure cases, Third-year reviews, processing of faculty reimbursements, visiting scholar applications and provides overall faculty support.

Responsible for coordinating CEPP (Committee for Events and Planning) Events, including the First Wednesday Lectures and receptions. Also is the webmaster for the English Channel and This Week in English Emails. Also responsible for working group reimbursements and room booking requests.
